  • - All three libraries received a facelift this year. They have all been redesigned and animated with Flash for a more engaging, interactive feel.
  • A-Z QuickSearch
  • - The A-Z Browse panel has been redesigned and renamed A-Z QuickSearch.
  • - The pane now has its own search box. Now you just begin typing to jump to that point in the list of all articles instead of selecting the letter like previous. This way you can jump to a particular point in one letter and makes for easier browsing.
  • New Explore Feature
  • - World Leaders browse provides easy access to more than 2,100 biographies covering leaders from 2930 BC through the present.
  • - Heroes & Villains browse provides easy access to more than 600 biographies covering the world's heroes and villains throughout time.
  • Homework Helpdesk Redesign
  • - Both the EBI and EBK Homework Helpdesk pages got a new look. They are now a little different from each other and more appropriate for the age group for which they are intended.
  • - We added Math Manipulatives and Learning In Action activities to the EBI and EBK Homework Helpdesk Learning Games and Activities. This added about 20 new activities.
  • - All references to grade levels have been removed on the Learning Games and Activities pages so they now only mention ages and are now suitable for all regions.
  • - The Online Spotlights link in HH used to point to the index page on Britannica.com so there were ads present. We have now created an online index page specifically for CD customers.
